Don and Sara Ann Russo met through music and now make music together.
Sara Ann started guitar lessons with Don and found her passion in music. She began to study her voice, attaining a vocal certificate from Berklee. She also started teaching lessons at Freeway Music.
Don was struck by Sara Ann's voice from the first time he heard it. He had previous experience as the frontman of Charming Hala and shared the stage with acts such as Tonic, Marcy Playground, Jump Little Children, Widespread Panic, Driving and Crying, and more.
It wasn't long before Sara Ann and Don began to sing and play together regularly in town. They turned their living room into a music room with several instruments and spent free time writing and co-writing. All of these efforts sparked their new project, Russo.
What sets them apart is their honesty in their music, their harmonies, and their playful energy. This new project is a must see.
